My name is Gonçalo, a Portuguese MSc's student in Cybersecurity at University of Aveiro with a passion for ethical hacking and security research.
I took the bachelor's in Software Engineering at the same university, where I developed a strong foundation in computer science and programming, and since I chose to pursuit Cybersecurity, that I have been addicted to CTF's, I thrive on solving security challenges and continuously expanding my knowledge in offensive and defensive security techniques.
I am currently living at Porto, Portugal.
The areas I am most interested in are Offensive Security, Web Exploitation, Reverse Engineering, and Blockchain Security.

Part of a team that researched Blockchain Integration for Bills of Lading, a maritime logistics solution. Focused on enhancing security and transparency in shipping documentation using blockchain technology.
NUAC - University of Aveiro Cybersecurity
Co-Founder of the first UA's cybersecurity club, merging the pre-existing CTF team I was a part of with a new initiative to promote cybersecurity knowledge on campus. As coordinator, I manage a team of members that together organize events, workshops, and CTF participation for the community and develop our skillsets.

Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions are my primary passion in cybersecurity. These timed, competitive challenges test my problem-solving abilities across multiple security domains especially in areas like web exploitation, reverse engineering that are my favorite.
Through CTF participation, I've honed practical skills that directly apply to real-world security scenarios, as long as long lasting friendships with fellow enthusiasts who share my dedication to learning and growth.
